British Military Boonie Hat Review

Hey TeamMax,

It’s your Uncle Max here, with another “Quick & Dirty, Done is Better Than Perfect” video review! This time I review my favorite outdoor adventure hat, the latest British Military Boonie Hat, that protects you from dangerous, painful, and debilitating solar radiation burns (sunburns, which are cumulative, and cancer causing). It has an added neck protector besides the full brim, and why that’s important.

We had just wrapped up a cool family rappelling adventure to a little known, tall hidden cave, called Goblins Lair, tucked in the back of the hills surrounding Goblin Valley State Park, over in Utah, where they filmed the rock creature scene from the movie Galaxy Quest.

While hiking back, I noticed that the sun was at my back, and I was hunched over a bit while carrying a backpack, and that if I wasn’t wearing my cool hat, I’d be getting sunburned on my neck.

I decided to talk about a proper sun hat, with the right features to actually protect you from the sun. We also talk a little about the rest of your proper protective clothing, and what features to look for, and where & how to get them for a super deal.

You’ll have to forgive me; I was huffing and puffing, while hiking, doing my best to hold my phone, and the wind, etc. Thanks to my son Jake, he clipped out all the huffing, and added in some captions here and there. It WAS quick & dirty, but he cleaned it up quite a bit.

Stay tuned for a link to virtually join us on our Family Rappelling Adventure to Goblins Lair Cave, where we rappel down nearly 80 feet thru a hole in the top, into a huge cave, in some of the most spectacular geology in the world!

Later, Max Out!
