Rotate Batteries & Preps: Swiss Know Best!
Hey Team Max,
This is your Uncle Max here with another “Quick & Dirty,” and “ Done is Better than Perfect” video (yeah, I know, poor video production, but great information!). I’m riddled with Adult ADD, as you can probably tell by watching my videos. Let's just say that in my Stream of Consciousness, there are some Class 2 Rapids! I may bounce around a lot, but it’s all good info that will come out in the wash!
Here's a tip you can learn from a mistake I made in the past, of not writing the date on every consumable or perishable item I procure for my preparedness home storage. Here's a few things that we’ll be covering in this video:
How to “Date it, and rotate it”
“You’re never penalized for having extra fuel when your plane lands”
What “Best if used by (date)” meant for your older batteries (Don't throw them out)
What type of batteries to store for emergency communications, for, say a CERT team or family, etc, that will store the longest, AND work in cold weather emergencies
Always having a Sharpie available that won't be misplaced, for immediately labeling all perishable preps coming into your home storage
An intro into the Swiss Civil Defense shelter system for all of their citizens, to protect them from Nuclear, Biological, & Chemical (NBC) attacks, which shelters include an infirmary, a disco, dining facilities, sleeping quarters, fire fighting equipment, etc.
How some of your older meds may still be viable, even after Expiration Date
Why you need to secure your meds, so they don't get disappeared on you
Yes, I know, and want to share, quite a lot of great info. I mentioned other great videos that we will be sharing in the future, so stay tuned for...
